All we remember to be a determined, full of tenacity, commitment and perfection in what was…
It is a nostalgia but also the conviction that his human qualities, because of the similar, it allowed a place in the podium of eternal life… a place full of light.

Saving Money -The Spool

Because it is not my first post on how to keep their money. As I mentioned before, in the diving because of all product or device be “exclusively” for diving it becomes until 3 or more times more expensive than anything else.
Proof of this is the famous cable protector for the hose regulator, only because of it being for diving it becomes much more expensive than a protector of cables for computer you can use a good for your regulator…
Of course, I am not here supporting you buy things of low quality, because you must be very sure and help with this wanting to be, it is always good to remember that you will be X m below the water below and there nothing can leave wrong . So if you have money available, preferably in buying your equipment specifically for diving, now if you are without money, but needs to continue the course, look very well all that you can use to your benefit so you continue the course and not stop for lack of money. PLanejar even save here to spend more there, in other equipment needed most… And always, always talk to your instructor before, submit their ideas and see what he thinks and he can help you.
Well, where I am speaking today on the spool… the spool normal and that there is more humble to use advanced in diving, is made of hard plastic, black and with 45 meters of nylon line (not the same fishing) coiled it in a tip mosquetão insurance. Purchased 50m, paid some $ 15 or 17. Purchased an mosquetão aluminum by 9 $ and ready, I made my spool to be used in the next dive. As I mentioned, this is only because I am spool without money, as soon as I finish the course I buy a whole aluminium and everything else, but it is not because at the moment I can not buy that I will stop my course….
Practical, no? Even today put photos of the spool….

First Diving..
April 4, 2008 — Rafa & MilaThe feeling is great, I always liked that thing to mount equipment, try this, try that. That cold in the belly knowing that once the boat berth we will be in touch with a completely new world. Although it is not my first experience at sea, because since the ten-year-old practice snorkling, sport I learned from my father is that the PADI diver. But it is my first contact with scuba dive.
And it was thinking about all this and with my wife that we arrive at the place of diving in Bela Island – Brazil.
How is the basic course, we had only that meet certain series of exercises on Saturday and Sunday.
But for simpler it is, is extremely important, because we do part of the plan of career, in our minds, it was not only diving, we demand that the best of ourselves, try as much as possible put into practice what we learned in theory, in the pool and we were training there in the sea. Until because one of our goals is to be in Fernando de Noronha – Brazil, working at the end of the year, therefore we have a tremendous demand with ourselves, not to miss and if mistakes, correct.
Even though everything went well in two days, Office of Emergency controlled ascent, displacement of diver tired, simulation of lack of oxygen, everything went well.
But what I really I dedicated myself more and I have left with a very good basis has been the buoyancy.
Function which is the divisor of waters of the diving and for us a question of honour practically (hahahahaha), but rather to control treinei and buoyancy in the diving on Sunday and I and some companions were doing more tourism with one of the divemasters and I could already down close to the ground and when I wanted to climb and only with the controls of the lungs, is a unique experience, it is like flying. On that day also was glad for the fact that once I control the buoyancy, I make less effort unnecessary and thereby have more oxygen for diving.
Finally, applied everything they learned in courses at sea and just leaving me well, I felt a little people by big dive capped with the divemasters.
Some Tips.
- Beware of backpacks and electronics, all wet on the boat.
- They offer fruit, juice and water.
- Get the appointment.
- If for Island-Bela and never have gone, check the time of the ferry, it takes longer.
- If you never put the clothes of diving, try to do with a bag of supermarket involving your hands or feet, one at a time, you will see how much easier.
- Support the instructors, meet people, they are all very legal and receive everyone with open arms, much chat and exchanged experience.
- No boat there is a shower with hot water, enjoy, but do not spend much water.

April 3, 2008 — Rafa & MilaYes, I was ready to dive last week with my beloved wife… When did on Friday an avian it, result = No dive guy!
Now let us, because even when we should not dive cold or with any kind of congestion?
A person with symptoms of cold or flu should not dive until they cure and to hear noises with ease when in dry swallow.
Below, some tips and helpful hints: – always equalize, is the maneuver that is, always listen to the noises of the ear is opening before diving; make the Valsalva maneuver, and teach your friends divers – unfortunately occur if a barotrauma , cancel the dive immediately and not plunge again. Symptoms of mild barotrauma disappear in a week or two. You can dive with safety once the equalization is achieved again so natural, without the presence of abnormal noises in the ears and with the hearing returning to normal. If in doubt, consult your doctor – do not use decongestants if it is cold, because they mask the symptoms of possible barotrauma.

Yesterday, Sunday, I was at home looking to buy some more books and continue to deepen my learning in the world of leadership and also of diving.
But today when came to work, I spent in front of a school, that students should have ate the eighth series and noticed a guy who works receiving the students. It’s a boy with some 40 years more or less, black, high, which is on the door of the school giving good day to students, playing with them, it is even fun, hugging and talking slang as boys.
Imagine you come to school, the 6-morning, with much sleep, knowing the various tasks that will have to do during the day… you already came to go home, but that guy was the difference, he hugging and played with everyone so that everybody smile, played with them too, was that time that normally is a bag, a little more legal… dealt all equal…
And started to think about how this was important everywhere with all people and all professions .. but, bringing it to the diving, I think that is one of the qualities of the leader, you know give to people and make it as the bad times become opportunities.
Personally, I always said that I have never seen a situation as something bad against my person, by contrast… a problem and further unresolved, it is a sign that people are coming not knowing how to resolve, which means that we have an opportunity to learn something new and put us where is this failure…
Problems are opportunities and was exactly what that guy did, he realized that all the students have arrived, bag and somehow, what used to communicate with them more as a result, it should have achieved greater attention of the board of the school , greater attention of parents who no longer took the majority of the students ate the door, but left with that face… ie… trust my dear… to build day after day…
German applicable, a circle of friendship and not because of protection between pupils themselves…

The food was linked to the fact go wrong in the boat before diving, if you have to pass easily evil, should eat well, avoid the meat fat and heavy meals on all alcoholic beverages.
In the morning of the diving, we should eat at breakfast and fruit, bread, cheese and milk or juice to have a coffee and strengthened. Nothing too heavy for that does not have problem in the boat or has trouble diving.
If lunch, remember the rest an hour after eating and do not eat anything too heavy, so you do not have problems.
The night before the dive, sleep well, relax the body so that it can make all the activity during the day.
Use these words as a rule before every dive to not have problems throughout the tour.

Letter to Divers
February 6, 2008 — Rafa & MilaSame to all humans, we born on earth-heart. We have arms and legs, Breathe oxygen it comes into smaller lungs. We spent much of our lives on vertical position that gives us greater autonomy and comfort in the earth. In a Superficial vision we are same to all humans.
But analyzing a little deeper, something makes us different. We born with eyes accustomed to the blue of waters. We have a body that hopes by the arms of the sea and a lung accepting large deprivations of air only to prolong our lives in the blue world.
We are mens and womans of restless spirit. We seek in our lives more than was given. We spent to great difficulties to bring the fishes. We transform our feet in big fies, we held the heat of our body with fake fur and coming with us a new lung in our back. And all this for wath? To satisfy a passion, a dream. Because we, some day, of some how, we were presented to a new world. A world of silence, quiet, mistery, respect and friendship. And this calm and silence made us forget the mess and turmoil in our homeland. The mistery surrounding our hearts thirsty for adventure.
The respect we learn to take the real inhabitants of this world. Respect this, only after having felt the innocence of a fish, the intelligence of a dolphin, the majesty of a whale or even the strength of a shark, we can understand.
And the friendship. When we go to deep of the sea, we discover that there could never live alone. So, take someone else. And this person, called a double, companion or simply friend, becomes important to us. Why, and they could save our lives, is to share everything that we see and feel.
And in pairs, we have teams, and these become increasingly larger and more united. And so we believe that we are all old friends even if we do not know. And this bond that unites us is greater than all the others that have already found
And that means that we are more than friends, we are brothers.
